Regulations for carrying out research activities

The priority objective of the G.B. Bietti Foundation is to promote the quality of current scientific research activity, aimed at developing knowledge in the field of biomedicine and public health as well as the scientific research with an aim, that is to say the scientific research activity implemented through specific projects and aimed at achieving particular and priority biomedical and health objectives, identified by the National Health Plan.

The research is carried out in compliance with fundamental ethical principles.

The IRCCS G.B. Bietti Foundation, in order to integrate the tasks of care and assistance, promotes innovation and technology transfer; it is open to collaboration with other National Health Service bodies, with universities, public research bodies, including international ones, as well as with national and international scientific and industrial partners.

The regulation contains the general principles regarding the general organization of research and technology transfer of the IRCCS G.B. Bietti Foundation and in particular, those referring to the types and methods of management of research funding, the career and rewards of researchers.
