Gabriele Antonio Zingale is currently a PhD student of the XXXVII Cycle of the International PhD course in Chemical Sciences of the University of Catania. He graduated in Chemistry (BSc) at the University of Catania on 27.07.2018 with final grade 110/110 cum laude discussing an experimental thesis entitled “Cysteine protease contributes to generation of nociceptin fragments in the rat spinal cord”. He continued his studies in Biomolecular Chemistry at the University of Catania, obtaining his Master’s Degree on 02.10.2020 with a grade of 110/110 and honors after discussing an experimental thesis entitled “Analysis of the Ag⁺ binding sites of the periplasmic protein SilE using model peptides “. He has skills in: liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and surface plasmon resonance (SPR).
