Irene Pandino graduated in Chemistry in 2020 at the University of Catania with an experimental thesis entitled “Synthesis of amphiphilic photoactive molecules”. In 2022 she obtained the Master’s Degree in Chemical Sciences (curriculum: Biomolecular Chemistry) at the University of Catania with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude, after discussing an experimental thesis entitled “A novel SPR based method to measure diffusion coefficients: from small molecules to supramolecular aggregates”. Her skills range from organic synthesis in solution and in solid phase to Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), Fluorescence and UV-Vis Spectroscopy, microfluidics and nanofluidics, molecular interactions, metal-peptide complexes, Carbon quantum dots and mass spectrometry.
